Toshogu Shrine is located in the San'in region, where the influence of the Kanto region remains throughout. At the end of the unnecessarily wide and long approach to the shrine, there is a shrine building that is noticeably damaged. The cobblestones on the approach were rickety and there were even large puddles as it was raining. It's like there's not much to see and you only have time. There is a parking lot, but it's small, and there are parks and history museums (this is actually the main attraction) along the way, so it's safe to walk.
I visited in late October.
It was just starting to rain, creating a damp atmosphere.
Since this year is Ieyasu's ``what to do'' year, I learned that there was a Toshogu Shrine in Tottori and decided to visit it.
The taller maple trees were starting to turn reddish, creating an autumn atmosphere.

Experience nature in Tottori city by this ancient shrine and forest walking path with a pond. Be careful of bears in this area.

Absolutely stunning park and shrine. Long walks, streams, parks, bodies of water and plenty to explore.
