Comfortable for walking. It feels so good! This is a small park next to Shonai Shrine. There is a river flowing and there are benches where you can take a short break while reading or listening to music. Isn't that fine? There was a free parking lot nearby, and there were quite a few families.

It's a nice park for a walk. Free parking is available in the south area of the road.

Went for a walk. Pretty cold, cause it’s winter season, just a sunny ☀️ day, nice 👍 big park .. run your dog 🐩 or sit at bench beside the trees 🌳 eat your lunch or just relax while seeing the ducks 🦆 swim .I hope my next visit will be spring season. I would like to see cherry blossom 🌸 here and take lots of photos of them

The cherry blossoms are very beautiful in the park of the Tsurugaoka Castle ruins, which was the residence of the Sakai family of the Shonai domain for about 250 years. This photo was taken on April 18, 2015, and there was a cherry blossom festival going on. We also held events such as the first crying sumo and tanka submissions. Despite being a famous place, we were able to enjoy cherry blossom viewing without being too crowded.
