Beautiful park. Very crowded on weekends. Warning , a man that is selling grilled “crab” on sticks near temple - this is not a real crab, it’s a surimi mix like from supermarket imitation “crab” sticks. I was disappointed and felt that I was scammed, cause he uses a real crab decorations. Don’t waste your money. It tastes like fish mochi, it has the same spongy texture. Park is big. I wouldn’t visit second time, too crowded… shrines are surrounded by lots of tourists with cameras, difficult to enjoy things in such atmosphere.

Very easy to get to upon exit on any train stations. There's subway and JR rail access. The park is huge surrounded by museums you can explore. The national japanese museum is also here so you have plenty of things to explore during the day. Went here on winter time. Guessing its perfect time for spring with all cherry blossoms.

A big public park with many free things to see throughout the greens along the various walking paths including fountains, temples, shrines, statues, stalls and food stalls at certain times, and other attractions around. It gets quite busy as a popular attraction. Around the park are various paid attractions such as museums that you can also visit. Overall, it makes for a nice day out.

The place is very spacious, comfortable for walking. Lots of big trees make the air fresh. It seems like it has entered autumn where some of the trees' leaves are starting to turn yellow. There is a zoo and some pretty nice museums to visit. At several points there are also places to pray. There are still many wild birds calling and flying.

An absolutely lovely park!!! Highly recommend visiting the location, in a convenient spot adjacent to the station! The ginkgo and maple trees throughout the park were thriving amongst the beautiful vegetation. I enjoyed gazing upon the fountain and other features of the park, including the various shrine areas. There were many maps guiding you through the complex system of paths around the area, highlighting key features, of which there were many.
