Very lovely shrine in Aomori, close to Cafe Marron. Lots of fish in the pond and very well maintained surrounds. Beautiful to visit.

The temple might only open at 9am, but you can walk through early in the morning like I did. It's pretty with Autumn leaves. Please note, it's getting very cold in Aomori now. I come from a warm country, and outside walking around briskly kept me warm, but I would recommend wearing a windstopper layer for morning walks, as well as windstopper gloves. The wind chill factor was something else this morning!!

Beautiful pond, fish, and main building. But a little untidy and some areas are in a state of disrepair.

Beautiful little shrine and gardens nestled in the center of Aomori. There are idyllic koi ponds here with bridges to little islands. You can buy fish food for ¥100 and feed the koi. There are also plenty of ducks and other birds hanging out too. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Very good place to take photos.
