The curve of the handrail on the second floor balcony cannot be recreated even by modern master craftsmen. It is worth seeing. The only exhibits on display are the history of land reclamation around Uwajima Castle and the history of Nanyo's rulers. If you have time, I would like you to take a look Being able to see that architectural structure and history for free is great.

As I was taking Char Siu for a walk, a staff member here said to me, ``If you'd like, please come and have a look.'' It was a quick trip for my small job, so I was wondering whether to join or not, and I felt like I was given a push, so it was perfect timing. The inside of the building was full of photos and posters, but the building itself was amazing! This is a good old Meiji era building that was once built as a police station closer to the city. Relocating it to a beach like this... I think salt damage will damage this wonderful building.

It was a good size and the exhibits were comprehensive. It is in a good location along with the remains of the gun battery. I found a cat relaxing by the closed door. I was able to understand the history of Uwajima being reclaimed and developing after the island castle was built.

Although it is small, it is an elegant museum. This is an old police station that was relocated and restored. The nearby remains of a battery also give you a sense of the history of the end of the Edo period.
