A beautiful smaller Japanese castle. There’s a little museum of sorts inside telling the history of the place. Quite a lovely 45 mins spent walking the grounds.

The tourism officer dress in Shinobi outfits whom doing a gardening was the best and very friendly. He came rushing in after see the tourists. Came asking which language I preder and hand over the Wakayama castle information hope you all visit wakayama castle and take time to appreciate the magnificent sights of the castle and exhibitions inside with respect as well

A castle on a hilltop. Nice and cheap admission. Very hard to find nice spot to take the view of whole caste.

Great castle with cities view from the above. An unexpected location when i plan my trip, but end up the journey going to Wakayama castle really gives me the first impression going to Japan first in a lifetime is worth and priceless. Having interacted with the people around there really friendly and warm. Recommend you to come here if coming to Wakayama.

One of the best castles i visited so far. The architecture from outside is already amazing. You have very beautiful gardens and nice way up to the main entrance. The inside is very well maintain with very good exhibitions of the samurai armor’s, weapons and other interesting things.
