Smaller garden, but the staff and everything inside was beautiful and relaxing. The occasional tea ceremonies in the garden seem fun.

This is the beautiful spot & I highly recommend you to visit when you ever go to Fukui city. The view from inside the house overlooking the lake was divine & I could easily stay there for ages. I would love to go back again to feel tranquility of the garden.

Wish we had more time but we had to rush to catch our train. Beautiful garden and house. It was only after I read the details in the brochure once I'd left I discovered that that this is a reconstruction as the place was burnt down at the end of the war during bombing raids. It was a lovely sunny day on our visit and this made it more alluring. Well worth making the little effort it takes to get here.

We came late here, 4:30 pm was the last admission to this garden. Beautifully crafted garden. A nice place to have a photoshoot. Recommend for those who're searching a traditional Japanese values.

There is a tea house near the exit with a very nice view over the pond in the middle of the garden. Very relaxing and quiet place within the city
