The receptionist was obsessed with us washing our hands in alchohol and wanted masks worn as she. Covid!! I’m not sure there is a single piece of stained glass that is not a copy , made in Japan . Of an overseas glass window , dissapoined

I visited the museum while sightseeing in Yufuin. It took some time to get there because it was located far from the main area, but I'm glad I went because the exhibits were worth seeing. In addition to the museum, your ticket allows you to tour the interior of the adjacent St. Robert's Church. The exhibition room is dimly lit and has a calm atmosphere, with stained glass windows of various sizes on display. They looked like paintings, were detailed, highly artistic, and worth seeing. It was a great experience for me because I don't usually get a chance to see the stained glass windows or the inside of the church. The shop also has wonderful stained glass items, so I think it would be a good idea to purchase some as a souvenir to take home.

It is Japan's first antique stained glass museum. I was attracted by the splendid exterior and entered the building. The admission fee is 1,080 yen for adults, and you can view the museum next door. From the front, the museum is on the left and the association is on the right. Inside the dimly lit interior, you will find many accessories made with stained glass for sale. It's relatively expensive, but I guarantee you'll be healed. ( lol ) The stained glass displayed in each room was created between the 1800s and 1900s and was collected from various countries in Europe. There are mainly religious paintings, and the illuminated pieces match the antique furniture, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The adjacent association is furnished with period furniture, and the central stained glass window is illuminated by natural light and stands out beautifully. It can be a little cold in winter. We recommend taking measures against the cold. It seems that it can also be used for weddings, so if you are interested in a solemn wedding ceremony, why not visit?

Please visit this place! Due to pandemic it seems it doesn't have much visitors but the place is beautiful and the workshop offers a great experience. The staff is very nice and kind.
