I always like to find time to meet the gods when visiting a new location. And as this was my first time in Hakodate, I found myself traveling to Yukura Shrine. This beautiful and serene shrine held many wishes and even allowed visitors to pick 3 to hold together. I picked up a charm of leaping forward in hopes of good luck leaping ahead.

A lovely quaint and quiet shrine to visit. Easy to get there by tram. End of the line on the tram. Lots of rabbits and bonsai trees. Lovely and quiet shrine.
