The animals are so cute and you can get really close up to them! I'm amazed that this little zoo is free to enter!

Quite a pleasant walk overlooking the city on a fine day. There are many eateries along the way.

Like most zoos in Japan the animals are kept in embarrassingly tiny cages and can't really move or do anything. It's kinda sad to see.

Its a nice walk up the mountain, free entry and theres a sloth. not great conditions for the animals but thats never been a big priority in Japanese zoos.

This is a really nice small zoo with a good variety of animals. The animals seem happy and well cared for. Most amazingly of all, admission is free!
