There are many things to see. It's a wealthy merchant's mansion, so it's spacious and comfortable, and it gives you a sense of history. The garden is also beautiful.

I visited "GOFOLKOGEI". Iwase is home to several wealthy merchants, including those from here, who once made their fortunes on Kitamaebune ships, but this is my first time visiting here. Like the neighboring Mori family that I visited earlier, I was overwhelmed by the luxurious structure that shows how prosperous it was in the past. Also, this time, the wonderful crafts and buildings combined to create a very nice space.

The two mansions in the Iwase area of Toyama are the Baba family and the Mori family. The entrance fee is 100 yen for each, but a common admission ticket is sold for 180 yen, so if you plan to go to both, it's best to buy this one. Babaya is spacious toward the back, and is recommended for relaxing a little.
