Lovely little place to explore. Way better than the crowded Kyoto bamboo forest.

4 star should he the best fit The place is traditional and beautiful with all the bamboo trees around. Just a bit small

Little overrated for my taste, as there are so many beautiful and natural bamboo forests in Japan. Nevertheless, nice to take a small walk and take some pictures of the surrounding.

I absolutely loved this place. We were staying nearby at Hostel knot. We walked here at night and enjoyed this beautiful light up spot. It is small but I think it is charming. Nearby bridges make it an adventure to get to. You should totally go at night but daytime is also beautiful. Don’t forget to look up!

The bamboo forest itself is rather small but cute nonetheless. The path located near a river which is connected with red vermillion walking bridges. Along the way you’ll find cafes, boutiques shops and ryokans. It is free and open since it’s part of the waking path.
