Cool looking building. I’ve gone to many observation decks. I’d have to say this one is a smaller one. The view is nice but it’s a little towards the outskirts so there’s not much to look at. There’s tables and chairs in if you want to sit and read or do homework lol. There’s a tiny cute little galaxy path too

I actually really like this tower, a lot better than Tokyo Tower. The views in Beppu are underrated — one side water, the other side mountains with train tracks running at their base. There is a small cafe on the 17th floor, a stamp station, and plenty of views in all directions. To get in, you buy a ticket from a vending machine at the base of the tower. No reason to come all the way to Beppu just for the tower, but if you’re here I recommend it for sure.

Recently the lighting has changed, it's just beside the sea, amazing to visit the view surrounding from the top. There is a karaoke in the tower. Convinient store nearby. Parking available nearby but paid. Few restaurants surrounded. Landmark of Beppu city. Recommended for foreigners or visitors passing by the road beside.

We played fireworks at the park next to Beppu Tower between 7/14-8/31. Can get fireworks from Donki

Nice view of sea and land. Located by the sea side. Close to Beppu Station, about 10-15 minutes walk. Client to bus stops and a few restaurants too and marine bay. Ticket is bought from vending machine. Only Japanese when we were there. Combo tickets is reasonable that includes a nice gallery as well - ¥1,000 for observatory, a mini galaxy tunnel, mini gifts shops on 2 different floors. 5th floor, outdoor is of separate charge, ticket on spot, closed when weather is not permitting. Some nice seating area here and there and paid binocular too. Sadly we rested too long on observatory floor that had us run through the gallery due to time for the next bus. The painter is was there to greet too.
