Free tour. You can see the gate of the Sanada family, a 100 koku intermediate samurai, the Shirai family. It was moved to its current location in 2000. Well maintained.
The front gate of the former Shirai family, the mid-ranking samurai of the Matsushiro domain, is a three-room, one-door-style nagayamon gate built in 1846.
There are three living quarters behind the front gate, and it is believed that the samurai of the Shirai family lived there.
It has an unusual structure with a house leading to the gate.
There was a free rest area inside, and volunteers provided pickled plums and tea as well as tourist information.

When I first saw this place, I didn't know why, but I felt a strong desire to go inside.

The volunteer guides love to talk, and their history talks that aren't in the books are interesting.
