A history museum located in Gunma no Mori Park. It is a magnificent building with a permanent exhibition as well as a special exhibition room, where the history of Gunma prefecture is introduced in chronological order. Perhaps it has been renovated in recent years, and the exhibition space is beautiful and worth seeing. There is an additional charge for the special exhibition, but it was nice to see the originality. The adjacent Museum of Modern Art is also a must-visit spot. For public transportation, access by bus from Takasaki Station or Kuragano Station. There are not many buses, so we recommend driving.

When I went there, there was a special exhibition about life in the Showa era. I went with a boy who has a history. You can learn about the history of Gunma. I think people who like helmets, armor, and history will enjoy it. There are some things you can enjoy with AR. I think people who aren't interested will find it boring. During the long holidays, they hold programs for children. It's quite a walk from the parking lot to the museum. There are plenty of parking lots. There is a plaza around the museum where you can play if you bring something.
