I visited without any expectations, but it was better than Izumo Shrine. I was worried because there wasn't a single person there when I visited, but that made it even better. Since I was using the Sanin Tourist Pass, I also had a matcha tea experience, and the lady guiding me served me very kindly. I wish I could speak Japanese well, but it was a shame.

It is a facility that conveys the culture and traditions of Izumo to the present day, including the ``Izumo Mansion,'' which is the main building of the Ezumi family, a wealthy farmer in the Izumo region, which was relocated from the Nagaya gate (from the brochure). It's about 15 minutes from the "Hamayama Park North Exit" of the Ichibata train. Enjoy the historic building and lovely garden.

The soba restaurant here is very delicious and there is quite a line. It's worth it.

Wonderful scenery, beautiful buildings and a solemn atmosphere. Facilities and buildings that are thoroughly cleaned and maintained, delicious soba restaurants, matcha, Heisei spring water, etc. Is this free? There are cultural property facilities that are of an even worse level for a fee. I guess the staff who maintain it are very conscious. I thought it was really great.

This is my second visit to the Izumo Cultural Heritage Museum. I have seen the 30th anniversary special exhibition, the sword exhibition. The photo shoot was NG, but I was moved by the beautiful sword in front of me.This is a recommended place.
