Such a beautiful place when the plum blossoms are in bloom, it feels like a fairytale. The only downside is the paths are quite narrow and it was so crowded, but I guess that's the price you pay to visit such a stunning setting! I would still recommend it.

A beautiful and secluded shrine and garden hidden away in an industrial area, visited mostly by locals. This garden is a peaceful alternative to the bustling and overcrowded attractions in Kyoto City. Photography is not permitted inside the temple, entry to the garden costs ¥1,000 for adults. Not recommended for large crowds or loud groups.

Very beautiful, definitely worth a visit to the garden. We went in early February when everything is just starting to bloom which was quite special. I can’t imagine how beautiful it must be when the plum blossoms are fully bloomed! Attached some of my favorite moments from our visit

l visited around 12:30 p.m. and there was not much line to enter the garden. It costs 800 yen per person. (For kids if l am not mistaken 500 Yen). We access by train and after the train station 10 minutes of walking. If you decide the come by car, parking lot is available.around the Shrine. The garden is amazing, it is a must-see in Kyoto this time of year. #Shrine #Kyoto #Spring #Sakura
