Took a quick revisit of the manga museum (I visited on Tuesday before check the schedule. It’s closed on Tuesday). A temporary event (manga show from Kaoru Mori, A Bride’s Story) was held in 5F. Meanwhile in the 6F there was a permanent event and a place where you can read a numerous manga collections. The ticket ¥800, cash only. Some area aren’t allowed to took pictures. The museum has a few fun activities and also show cases new anime as well. The biggest time sink if you want to get out of this visit is reading the mangas in the library section. Most of it is in Japanese but you can also find some English translated volumes.

Display and shows how manga history comes about. Even the escalator hand rail imprint with comic. Best is, it has array of comic for you to sit thru the day (like a library).

Took a nice quick visit of the manga museum. Their pride and joy is Leiji Matsumoto and the amazing contribution he has given the world. The museum has a few fun activities and also show cases new anime as well. The biggest time sink if you want to get out of this visit is reading the mangas in the library section. Most of it is in Japanese but you can also find some English translated volumes.

This is a really cool thing to do for a few hours. My partner and I enjoyed walking through and seeing how the manga was created.

Amazing museum that shows the history of manga and how the process of manga creation works. At the end of the museum is the biggest library of manga I have ever seen, free for you to read since you already paid for admission! 🙂
