Kusatsu Attractions Recommendation ⛩️ Kusatsu Onsen Temple A 3-day, 2-night trip to Kusatsu Onsen Apart from staying at a hot spring hotel and enjoying the accommodations and meals, I highly recommend spending a day exploring the Kusatsu Onsen area. A must-visit spot is Kusatsu Onsen Temple, located on the mountaintop. From there, you can take in the breathtaking views of Kusatsu and admire the beautiful hot spring fields. With the combination of the five-story pagoda and the snowy scenery, it feels like a picturesque postcard.

The woman she sold me the goshuin was very kind. She also helped me with the incense. I felt welcome even with my broken japanese

Nice little temple complex just north of Yubatake, up some steps. Includes a five storey pagoda and a small pond.

This temple is located right next to the large parking garage and the station/visitor center. Quite small, but had pretty seasonal plants and a small office that does goshuin. When we visited, the pagoda was under construction. There is a large staircase leading down to the yubatake.
