Random stuff from the 70s and 80s. Don't plan your day around it but if you're in matsushima and need to kill 30-60 minutes enjoying memories of old technology and culture, it's pretty neat. Posters, electronics, games, etc. You can touch the exhibits.

My favorite museum in Japan up until now. Has very interesting pieces from everyday life in Japan. Games are playable as well :D Takes only 30ish minutes to see everything, so it's absolutely obligatory on a visit to Matsushima.

A small space but I loved it. You can touch and play with most of the exhibits. The proprietor was very friendly and eager to demonstrate or explain items in the collection. You can also ask him to play any of the vintage records in the collection.

Great little spot. Incredible collection of everything Japanese. Records, books, toys, posters, memoriblia and much more. 400 yen entry and owner is super friendly. Not to be missed.

Fabulous! A tiny space, but a treasure trove of great objects. Do go, even if you're not Japanese. I loved it.
