I’m not particularly interested in railways, but I had fun visiting this museum. It shows how Nagahama train station used to be in the past.

Nagahama Tetsudo Square is a charming destination for train lovers. The intricate model layouts and diverse collection of trains showcase the rich history of railroads. The attention to detail in the exhibits is commendable, making it an engaging experience for visitors of all ages. The surrounding area with its scenic views adds to the overall appeal. Fun place to be! Almost unknown place but it is a great place to visit if you are steam engine fan. Old station is also a nice experience!

Great railway museum! The kids loved the decommissioned locos and model trains they could play with!
