I was here just for the Hideaki Anno exhibition, but the museum is beautiful and super well organized. I was amazed how the staff was present in every room and always providing assistance.

Beautiful museum with a lovely surrounding garden. Attended for the Hideaki Anno exhibit, and the staff were lovely all the way through.

The building is modern and very stylishly designed. Of course, the exhibits are all historically valuable. You will be satisfied no matter how many times you visit. The view of Zenkoji Temple from the rooftop is also wonderful.

Okay, so admittedly, we didn’t actually go into any of the exhibits, but the space and the architecture were amazing! Loved the concrete and minimalist vibes, as well as the floor to ceiling glass windows and the recessed lighting. Vibe and lighting was immaculate, nice spaces indoors and outdoors, overall phenomenal space.
