Upon entering the museum, a huge pear tree immediately captures your attention. As a visitor, a ticket allows you to exchange it for a bottle of pears, with the flavor varying depending on the season. Generally, you can savor three different kinds of pears on a single visit. Additionally, numerous interactive devices cater to both learning and entertainment for kids. It's definitely worth a visit.

Such a special fun museum! It took about an hour for me to get there from Tottori station and the buses and trains do not run too frequently so plan ahead and know the train/bus times so you can keep watch. The museum itself is easy to find because it is so big!!! I was not expecting that. Only 150¥ to enter and there are 2 floors. A wealth of information in each section and even a library! There is a whole section for children to play and even a theater room. You can easily spend a couple of hours here. I enjoyed trying the 3 different types of pears. They were all so delicious!

Half price for foreigners. Three selected pears each day for you to eat, as much as you can XD, and vote for the best. Spent around 30 minutes here.
