Visited on January 2. Hundreds and hundreds of people there. It was a beautiful day and everyone seemed to be in a festive, holiday mood. The giant camphor tree 楠 くすのき is amazing.

A great shrine to visit - it is just right next to the Naruto German House and not far away from the Ryozen-ji. The shrine was huge and the entrance (with rock lanterns on the two sides was beautiful. The car park is right at the entrance of the shrine (passed through all the rock lanterns and a bridge).

A stunning Tori gate with stone lanterns stretching along the Michi for hundreds meters. In front of the entrance of the Jinja, there is this stunning camphor tree which is over 1000 year old. There is an incredible amount of mystic energy and power in the surrounding area. This jinja is obviously full of magical powers - there was a constant stream of visitors come to warship and a row of staff manned shelters catering to disciples needs. 🙏🙏🙏

A nice walk from the temple n* 1 Ryozen-ji. Nothing so special but i would still recommend it as an enjoyable walk in the japanese countryside. Not far from the train station Bandō. This part has almost no tourist which made it very pleasant to me.
