There is a parking lot that can accommodate several cars, so I went there by car. We saw the spectacular view of Himeji Castle at the water reservoir park and visited Senhime Hachimangu Shrine. When we were buying drinks from a vending machine on the way home, an old woman who I didn't know started taking pictures of each car parked in the parking lot, and I noticed myself buying drinks from the vending machine as he approached us. A photo of the parents and their children was even taken. When I turned around and made eye contact, I stopped looking at my phone. It's impossible to take photos without permission. Please explain something. I was happy to see the beautiful scenery and was planning to come back on a nice day, but I feel terrible.

The deities enshrined are Emperor Ojin, Empress Jingu, Hime Okami (three goddesses of Munakata), It was founded in 1345 and enshrined the deity from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine in Kyoto. Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine is enshrined on Otokoyama and is also called Otokoyama Hachiman. It was probably named Otokoyama Hachimangu Shrine in response to this. ★By the way, it is also the best viewing spot for Himeji Castle and the sunrise 🏯☀️

The Seiwa-Genji clan, whose ancestors were the imperial family, made Iwashimizu Otokoyama Hachimangu Shrine in Kyoto their guardian deity, making it the most numerous Hachiman shrine in Japan. It's a wonderful situation to watch over Himeji Castle as the god of valor. You have to climb up the stairs, but the scenery is nice so it's worth it.

[Otokoyama] is counted as one of the top ten views of Himeji Castle. Otokoyama Hachimangu Shrine is located halfway up the mountain. It is said that Masakuni Sakakibara, the lord of Himeji Castle, donated and built the new shrine as a guardian deity of Himeji Castle. It's located halfway up a mountain and is surrounded by trees, giving it a sacred feel that will make you feel empowered. The water reservoir park at the top is a short distance up from the main shrine, so I think it would be a good idea to take a look at the spectacular view that includes Himeji Castle as well.

There are several routes to the top of Mt. Otokoyama, but the one that starts from the left side of the Hachiman Shrine office is probably the best as it allows you to climb slowly and make a pilgrimage. I don't know if any photos were taken, but I saw Kanjani Jr.'s signature colored paper (a copy) posted on the bulletin board in the temple grounds, and I laughed and thought it was pretty cool.
