To what generation is Pokopen popular? For our generation, the Heisei era is the longest in our lives. Rather than being nostalgic, it's the Showa era that was like this. I don't like it, but it might have been like this around my grandpa's house... There are many exhibits that will help you rediscover the postwar Showa era. Apparently on Sundays there is also an experience corner where you can experience old games. Sunday seems to be a good day for families with children. I think people over 50 will be more excited. For the younger generation, this retro style may be refreshing.

Impressive, it completely transported me to another time. A must visit, preferably on Sunday.

Have a taste of the Japanese Showa period. This hidden gem is just a 20 minutes walk from Oozu catsle. While the shops here may not always be open for business, the Pokopen Yokochou museum is open all week long and is, as far as I know and after Garyu Sanso, one of Ozu’s best attractions!

Great place to visit and see all kinds of stuff, from cars and motorcycles to a fully equipped kitchen and living room!

Don't go on weekday. You won't see anyone or any shops.
