Japanese seem to like copies of foreign sightseeing spots like this copy of the old city of Porto in Portugal. It looks and feels real and at the same time out of place. It is though a nice place to stroll around, u have a coffee, ice cream or a meal in one of the cafés or restaurants or take a ride on a carousel. When we visited (October 11), the Christmas decoration was in preparation. Not a bad place for families with smaller children, or couples on a romantic date. A big ferris wheel which used to be here has been removed a year or so ago. Close to Kuroshio maguro market. Paid parking is not cheap but entry to Porto is free. All you can ride tickets are available for the rides/carousel at the main entrance near Kuroshio market.

On Sept 16, 2023, my wife and I drove near and were attracted by the place’s Italian facade. As admission was free, we visited the theme park for about half an hour, taking images and documenting the fun of all. Just when we were about to leave, I heard the background music of “La Mer” one of my favourites!

This was so exciting and fun! There is a bit of a wait for some of the more popular rides like the water rollercoaster, but it's definitely worth it. Rides are 300 - 700 yen a person. There are also a lot of kid friendly rides! I definitely will be back

Be warned, the parking lot nearby is NOT worth it. We were only gone for about a couple hours, but parking racked up around 2300 yen. They seem to be preparing for Christmas festivities at the moment, so there’s some construction going on. They appeased to park visitors by waiving the entrance fee. I feel like it’s still awfully expensive just to go through the petting zoo experience though.

My husband took me here for my birthday and we loved it. It's very picturesque and made us feel that we really were in Europe. Bring your camera because there will be lots of beautiful photo spots. The place isn't that big so you can pretty much see everything in about an hour or two (if you take lots of photos). Parking is about 1000 yen but entrance to the park is free.
