The temple of the great Medicine Buddha is located at the top of the hill. I am happy that I decided to walk, it was a great and a lovely experience, passing by many beautiful local homes. Reaching the temple I felt very calm and peaceful especially hearing the priest although my Japanese language knowledge is still an infant.

Healing buddha- buddhist temple. There is bus from heizan sakamoto station or you can walk up the slope. It would take around 30 mins approximately. Wind chimes are so beautiful right in-front of the main temple. More details in the photo. Don’t miss the summer light up (夏のライトアップ)in August(2022)

Great place for no entrance fee and free parking! Yet, historically very important. There is a grave of Akechi Mitsuhide's family.
