The basement level preservation is breathtaking and worth the visit alone. The museum has some interesting small scale exhibitions and plenty of locally-focused information. There is some English, English pamphlets, and website, but the most interesting items only have Japanese descriptions.

I planned so far ahead, I forgot what it was until the morning I left. There are clear instructions to the interesting building from the nearest station. A volunteer guide took me through most of the information in English. Truly one of a kind.

Nice little museum, good conservation of 20.000 old tree's. Only better support of English would be nice.
