Most beautiful temple I have ever seen we got a tour from a local lady that we asked for directions. The lake is a little dirty but is full of beautiful koi fish. There are wild boar behind it in the Forrest and u can even hear them occasionally

Place of true zen practice with the amazing master, Shodo Harada Roshi. Though many Japanese people don't know him, people from all over the world come to train zen under his extraordinary guidance.

Not a ‘monastery’ as they like it to be called. It’s a training center for both males and females. 90 percent European and American, very few Japanese. A good, helpful teacher and many devoted disciples. Plenty of intrigues and everyday squabbles. Zen was a hobby and gave me some wonderful memories and also helped me return to the Catholic faith and for this I’m thankful. If you’re contemplating a stay, my advice is keep both your eyes and ears very open and your mouth shut. Recommended but keep an objective mind and use common sense always.

I always love this tranquil place at anytime of the year. Each season has something different to offer. It's simplistic layout and nature makes it a great location to have a rest and relax in it's quietness.v
