Lovely place to visit. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. There are lots of hills, but they are all easy walks. You can hire electric golf buggys but you don't need them. There is a snack store and souvenir store, plenty of toilets

Not really worth it. Maybe if it were free, you’d come to take a photo of the statues with all the other tourists, but not worth the ¥1,000 entrance fee. Other than the seven Sun statues, not much else worth seeing.

Interesting and curious park on the southern part of the Miyazaki coastline. Most famous for the Moai, the park also boasts a number of other sculptures and installations, based around the theme of making a better planet. The entry fee was a little steep, but the park itself was perfectly pleasant. Difficult - though not impossible - to reach using public transport. The Miyazaki bus pass is recommended.

As a first timer to this place, it was an interesting and enjoyable trip. One can get to view the park of the Moai statues that were all lined up against a background of the blue sky and the Pacific Ocean. We went there in the morning so there wasn't much people at that time, however, there was a queue at the entrance of the park when we left the place. Entrance fees were ¥1000 for Adult and ¥700 for Junior Student. Paid upon entering through the park entrance, and I believe only cash is accepted. The fees are a little expensive in my opinion but I guess this is to keep this place in service and well maintained. Overall, above average experience but one trip there is enough for me. Recommended to come by car as it is quite far.

Weather was perfect, cool breeze, and perfectly blue skies (photos were not edited!). Huge Moai statues. Plenty of space to walk and roam around. Say Hi to the 3 resident giant tortises there. There is a swing in the middle of the park, not for the faint-hearted, you swing on a slope!! Note that there is a steep walk to the top, not recommended for folks who have mobility issues. There were self drive golf carts for rental, but unfortunately, you will need a Japan issued driving licence. They do not accept international driving permits. Not much food options for dining. Views of the sea was breath taking! There are plenty of instagrammable spots!
