A power spot not so far from Lake Suwa. It is a good choice to drop by from Hakuba ski resorte, just takes less than an hour highway from Azumino IC.

Amazing shrine. Very well kept and there are multiple shrines here. Large Tori gate and easy to walk to from the station.

Shrine complex with a history of wooden pillar making (Onbashira). Moderately busy. The walk from the station is interesting, especially the side streets.

This place has a such a nature, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It was so nice to explore. The view of the surrounding area from this location is nice too. I was able to get the shrine stamps for the two Taisha shrines in this area. Very well maintained place.
