What a cute little castle! According to the brochure, this castle lacks some features common to other castles because it was constructed in a rush due to an impending attack. It's fascinating to see what they pulled off in only a limited time.

Check the days and hours before you go. Usually don't open on Tuesdays. Double check.

This is a beautiful park to walk around in. The view of the castle with hydrangeas was perfect. The moat is loaded with koi, which I could watch all day! We didn’t visit the castle itself, but you can easily see it as you walk by.

It’s a 19th century 3 stored castle in Meiji period. They use first and second floor as an observation deke. Ticket price is 300¥per person. You can also do fish feeding. Car parking is free there. Their is a public library opposite of the castle. Their you can use free wifi.

Very beautiful place to go for a leisurely walk. We watched the sunset, too and had a good time posing in different spots. We just weren’t sure if the castle already closed when we came or if it really isn’t open for public viewing inside.
