R6.3.14 This shrine is located right near Tamatsukuri Onsen. This shrine is said to enshrine the daimyo Mochi-no-Mikoto and Sukuhikona-no-Mikoto, who discovered Tamatsukuri Onsen, as well as Kushimeigama-no-Mikoto, the god of bead making who created the three sacred treasures, the 8-shaku Qiong Magatama. wish stone/grant stone The Madama ``Wishing Stone'' in the precincts of Tamasakuyu Shrine is a sacred stone that has mysterious powers and has been worshiped at the shrine since ancient times. Many people come from all over the country to worship because if you touch it and pray to it, you will receive divine blessings. ``Kai-ishi'' is a talismanic stone that receives power from the wishing stone. Kanai stones come in a variety of colors and shapes. It seems that the stone you choose is actually choosing you. You will also receive a book with instructions on how to visit the shrine, so you can enjoy your visit. I was also able to receive a goshuin stamp.

I visited the shrine for New Year's visit. I bought a set of wishing stones at the small shrine office❓ and visited the shrine. The pamphlet had detailed instructions so it was easy to understand even for the first time. However, some of the people who visited the shrine did not purchase the amulet set, so I guess it is not well known. It's a small shrine, but it was very well kept.

A beautiful temple, near the Tamatsukuriyu Onsen in Shimane. Based on a natural high land, the main building of this temple was built in the traditional Japanese architectural style.

Tamatsukuri Onsen is full of beautiful little corners like this. Well worth exploring on foot in any season.
