The deity of this shrine is being worshipped as the patron of education. On the inner grounds is a shrine for the matchmaking deity Himemiya. Could see many blessings papers being placed at the designated spots. The atmosphere is different when you visit in the day compared to a night visit.

We stopped by while visiting the Awaodori Kaikan and saw the beautiful hand-painted goshuin. Everyone was very friendly to us and the stamp is beautiful. I would love to visit during different seasons to collect different ones. Thank you again!

Shrine at the base of the mountain. One of the trails up the mountain starts behind the shrine. Saw some families bringing their kids to the shrine for the 七五三 festival.
