One of the best places to see autumn leaves in gunma. They have a pond and a small hill in the garden. You can enjoy matcha surrounded with colourful leaves. Don’t forget to see kannon statues in a cave it’s very mystical.

Very beautiful garden and had a great experience of fall colors. They have a free parking area nearby. A must visit place during autumn.

This park really takes top prize for the greatest display of autumn colors I’ve ever seen. The kaleidoscope of red, orange, yellow and various hues in between are absolutely stunning and mind boggling. The fee of 800 yen is really worth it, and the fee also covers entrance to the caves with lots of deities.

A stunning and tranquil Japanese garden. The entrance fee is a bit on the pricier side, but it includes the entrance into the 400 m cave. The garden itself looked amazing in fall colors (we visited in Mid-November) and there was even a water mist „show“ to make it look even more mystical. The matcha at the tea house was delicious, too.

Beautiful Japanese garden. Thanks to the location and history, it has a unique atmosphere. Also, it was not crowded at all. Highly recommended.
