Preregistration on the website recommended. Lovely museum with free entrance unless a special expo is happening in which case that expo ticket must be purchased (mandatory)

A stamp rally was underway until the end of March 2024. Entry fees 500¥. They gave me a badge free of cost. Very well maintained and replicated. Staff were polite and nice. Recommended to make reservation in advance on weekends.

It's a kind and small museum dedicated to show the living conditions of those authors wich defined modern manga. You pay the ticket and you get a random pin (from 8 models avaible). There are authographs from many manga authors displayed over a wall, and there are permanent and temporary exhibitions. Unfortunelly, no texts were avaible in English (I had to ask for permission to the staff to use google translator, as photos are forbidden inside the museum). Katsumi-sama was very generous to me! Kind lady, talkative, and also indicated me the way for the Showa Museum (wich I couldn't visit).

Incredibly interesting, especially if you're in to art and the history of manga/entertainment. Keep in mind, all the signs are in Japanese. This is why my review is 4/5, if there was more English signage it would be 5/5. Staff are very helpful. ¥500 entry if you're an adult. A bit pricey for the small museum but you also get a pin!

The building was rebuild after the original Tokiwaso apartment was demolished. It's a small museum but visitors can enjoy an old atmosphere there.
