Very informative and enjoyable! Very suitable for people who love natural history/biology. They have an in-house salamander. I feel kinda sad that it's not in the wild where it should be.

Great value for money. 180 yen 💹 to visit first floor, which contains exhibits on geology, nature and history. Pay more to visit the 2nd floor. Write-ups are done well and everything is well curated. A lot of fascinating things to learn about within the region.

Spacious museum showcasing Tottori’s history now they have dinosaur exhibit which was ok and a bit pricey for my taste

We experienced their special exhibit for a few extra yen which was mostly art. My husband and I aren't art people but some of them were really cool to look at. We had a lot better time downstairs, especially in the animal section. Didn't have plaques downstairs in english but google translate helped for the things we were interested in but you'll recognize most without needing Google translate. Perfect thing to do on a rainy day.

Pretty nice museum on Tottori history, nature, and arts. Very few visitors.
