It is a Buddhist temple with the architecture referred from India, china and many countries. The outside of the monument will different from the actual Japanese temple but the inside will be similar. Here they practice different Buddhist Sutras and they might allow to take Photo of there is no event going on. It is free of cost for the entry and it very near to Tsukiji Market.

A big Buddhist temple near the old fish market. Famous for its eclectic architecture inspired by the Indian style. The interior is also a mix of various aesthetic, but the main altar area is more traditional, with beautiful gilded buddhas. Worth a visit if are already in the area.

Calming and serene place to visit. Was some chanting session going on while we visited. Architecture was beautiful and had grand. On the way from train station to Tsukiji market so stop by for a visit.

Neat looking and more newly established temple (which explains the less Japanese look). Nice spot to take a couple shots. Would recommend the breakfast spot just to the left of here!

Beautiful and unique Buddhist temple near Tsukiji Outer fish market. The architecture has strong Indian features that make it different from most temples in Japan. Very nicely lit up at night.
