If you come to Tsuruga, this is a place you should definitely stop by. If you are there before 2pm, we recommend that you listen to the explanations from the curators as you look around the museum. Why was there a stage like an entertainment hall even though it was a bank, and why was there a billiards table? You can get a feel for the way the founder, Mr. Owada, thinks.

This is the former Owada Bank main branch. In addition to the bank building and exhibits, you can also see up close an elevator from the early days of domestic production. I think it will be interesting for people who are interested in machines. Perhaps because it's an old building, the stairs have a bit of a rise, which can be a little tiring. In such cases, it is possible to go up to the third floor using a modern elevator.

The building is a renovated former bank, so you might have the impression that many old banks are very luxurious and stately buildings, but this is a wonderful building as well. Next door is the Dashi Kaikan, a building that looks like Ultraman's face. The first floor still has strong vestiges of being a bank at the time. You can really feel the splendor of the exhibition room on the second floor, and personally, it's rare to find a building where you can even tour the basement. It's not far from Kehi Shrine, Museum, and Red Brick Warehouse, so be sure to stop by here as well.

A very local museum. We were lucky enough to arrive there on the day for free, which happens once a year. It will be way better if it provides English for illustration.

Some interesting artifacts housed in an old bank with its own history. Some English language descriptions would have made the visit more informative and enjoyable.
