A family that made a fortune by making white wax, the main family of Haga, and branch families such as upper, lower, middle, and so on. These are all buildings that stand out among the heavy-duty buildings. In addition to the writer Kenzaburo Oe, Uchiko Town also produced the founders of Nissho Iwai and Dainippon Beer. Excuse me, but I'm a little surprised that so many fine people have come out of such a small town. The townscape has been designated as the 18th most important historical building, and has a calm, traditional townscape. Uchikoza is also a stately playhouse. It has become a valuable place, with only about 10 remaining in the country. It is a working building that can accommodate about 500 people.

Neizizhu was an unexpected surprise. I was originally hesitant to visit those places between Dazhou City, Xiatan Station and Neizizhu (due to the number of trains, it was impossible to meet these three points on the same day). Later, I was very happy that I chose Neizi. Stay here, because this is a unique street. Because of the weekdays, the whole street is quiet and very easy to take pictures. The old street is very well maintained. It has the illusion of going back to the Edo period. It is also one of Japan's top 100 roads. , it really lives up to its name. I originally thought that the short street would not last too long, but it was so beautiful that we didn’t want to leave. We stayed there for about 3 hours. If it weren’t for the need to catch the bus, maybe we would have stayed there for about 3 hours. You can stay longer~ It’s a good choice for a leisurely walk!

It was an elegant townscape with white walls. It used to be crowded with inbound tourists, but since it was a weekday, it was quiet. In addition to traditional shops, there were also a few stylish shops such as cafes. I came on a tour and had limited time, so I wanted to take a more leisurely look at it.

The little town of Uchiko is a gem. It really seems to preserve the feel of small town life Japan from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There is a wonderful Kabuki theatre. Little shops and restaurants. It does not feel commercial.

Beautiful area to walk around. It was very calm and quiet when I went today.
