Beautiful church near the museum. The design really stands out. It’s a nice waypoint if you’re hiking around the museum.

The outside and the stained glass inside are beautiful. You can't take pictures inside but I was allowed to enter and go sit somewhere to pray for a while.

The atomic bomb exploded 500 meters over the Urakami district, reducing the neighborhoods to rubble and instantly destroying Urakami Catholic Church. One of the bell towers still lies where it originally landed. I definitely recommend visiting this historic location. There are some awesome views and it's a good opportunity to ponder on history!

The outside was impressive but visitors were not allowed beyond the backside of the pews. It was hot an having no place to sit was unfortunate. On a cool day, this place must be pleasant however.
