Yoshino Mikumari Shrine (吉野水分神社, Yoshino Mikumari Jinja) is a small Shinto shrine in the upper Kami Senbon area of Yoshinoyama. The hall's beautiful, layered bark roof was renovated in 2011, and the structure has been designated part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. It’s free. In cherries blossom season, visitor must queue in line from the left to the right.

Love this shrine. Rustic peaceful vibe with the big old tree in the courtyard Was quite busy though during Sakura season.

One of the more interesting shrines I ve seen. Even more so in Sakura season. If you like hiking, or going up a long steep road, that will be a nice Trip. There are lots of souvenirshops as well on the road/way to the shrine.
