The Square Enix cafe was absolutely adorable, but the food was just alright. I would recommend only going for the experience and the merchandise store next to it. It definitely was one of my more favorite concept cafes in Japan.

While the food was only decent, the presentation of the food fit very well for its inspiration, in this case Octopath Teaveler 2. If I am visiting Tokyo again, and they do a different theme, I would definitely visit again, for the atmosphere, not the food.

25th anniversary for monster quest! What a great time to visit the square enix cafe. I would make sure you plan your visit around a desired theme as they don't mix themes, so if your looking for a specific game from the studio do your research before visiting.

If you’re a Square Enix fan I guess you “have to” go there. We did and it was cool but nothing spectacular to be honest. Pricey for what it is. Just wanted to check it off my bucket list.

Was here during the ff16 colab. Food was edible. I did enjoyed the spicy curry and the chicken wings. I ordered the jill’s drink and it was alright. Basically you do come in here to collect the coasters. Wished there was more theming but I guess they cant do much. Service was pretty good, though slow. You ordered from the ipad as well. Also alcohol is cheaper than the signature drink (and you still get coaster. Basically any drinks give you coaster while good gives you the placemat - I think).
