Step 1: Sign up!

Guides and travelers sign up through the same process. But when signing up, guides will switch on the I am a guide button.
Differences between traveler's and guide's account:

Guides can be chosen by travelers to guide the itineraries created/chosen by them.
Guides will be reviewed by travelers.
Guides can share itineraries so travelers can find them.
Guides will have a profile page at dekitabi.com/yourchoice.
Guides will have a dekitabi balance to receive the money paid for the tours they guide.
Guides will receive payouts with the total amount of their balance every Friday (Tokyo time) to the bank account they added.
Guides cannot initiate chat conversations.
Guides cannot book tours.

Step 2: Promote yourself

After your account is created, you need travelers to pick you for their tours.
These are what we think to be the best ways to start at dekitabi:

Have a full profile page with photos and information about yourself. A profile page is not only useful at dekitabi. You can also use your dekitabi.com/yourchoice to display your tours, availability and information to your clients outside dekitabi.
Create itineraries and share them. If travelers cannot find your profile easily, they might be able to find you by the itineraries you share.
Have great tours and create your fame through good ratings and reviews.

Step 3: Payments & payouts

You can choose how much your guiding fee is. The fees at dekitabi are divided by Full-day, which is for itineraries that last more than 4 hours. Or Half-day, for itineraries from 2 to 4 hours. The tour price will be calculated based on the itinerary duration and your guiding fee.

After you start having tours with travelers from dekitabi, payments are the next step. These are a few things you should know about payments and payouts:

You will receive the tour amount only after the traveler reviews you. Or 5 days after the tour, automatically.
dekitabi's service fee is 10% from the tour amount (guiding fee).
