Notes

Nagasaki is an important port city on the island of Kyushu and the capital of Nagasaki Prefecture. Its rich history and culture and attractive location around a narrow inlet make Nagasaki one of Japan's most interesting travel destinations. Thanks to its proximity to the Asian mainland, the port city of Nagasaki has played a prominent role in foreign trade relations for many centuries and was the most important of only a very few ports open to restricted numbers of foreign traders during Japan's period of isolation. Thus, Nagasaki would soak up these external influences which, in turn, were mixed in with Japanese traditions making for an interesting blend of cultures which still influence Nagasaki to this day.

Reminders

  • Please arrive at the designated location 15 mins prior to departure, as the tour will be delayed and might increase the final time, resulting in extra fees by the guide.

  • Please arrive at the meeting place on time. If you are late for the meeting time, it will be regarded as voluntary abandonment, and there will be no refund or compensation.

  • Travelers who leave the tour group and withdraw from the tour activities after the tour activity has started cannot request a refund of the tour fee.

  • If the traffic conditions are relatively congested, the return time may be delayed. Depending on the road conditions on the day, the departure time and route of each sightseeing location may be adjusted.

  • No refund will be given for changes in the itinerary and cancellation of attractions due to force majeure factors such as traffic and weather.

  • Infants under the age of 3 who do not occupy a seat do not need to be added. One adult can bring one infant under the age of 3.
