Notes

Tsuwano is a town at the western edge of Shimane Prefecture. The town is surrounded by hills and has a placid, pleasant atmosphere. In the town center, old samurai mansions with white earthen walls, dark red roof tiles and wooden grated windows line the streets, portraying scenes reminiscent of past centuries. The waterway which flows by the main street is filled with lively carps, which add color and vibrance to the picturesque surroundings. Tsuwano is also home to the Taikodani Inari Shrine, one of the five greatest Inari Shrines.

  • Please arrive at the designated location 15 mins prior to departure, as the tour will be delayed and might increase the final time, resulting in extra fees by the guide.

  • Please arrive at the meeting place on time. If you are late for the meeting time, it will be regarded as voluntary abandonment, and there will be no refund or compensation.

  • Travelers who leave the tour group and withdraw from the tour activities after the tour activity has started cannot request a refund of the tour fee.

  • If the traffic conditions are relatively congested, the return time may be delayed. Depending on the road conditions on the day, the departure time and route of each sightseeing location may be adjusted.
